Workshops

The Milk Press offers workshops at Punnet Eatery in Tamahere. In general, we do 2 workshops per month at Punnet. Please see our instagram account @themilkpressworkshops for a wide range of workshop photos and reels.

We also offer workshops in your space (we come to you) for groups between 6-18 people. Please use the contact form below if you would like to discuss workshops in your space. Spaces are limited, and we usually only book one additional workshop per month.

Cost of workshops start from $95 per person (minimum of 6 people, maximum of 18), depending on what you would like to make, how many pieces you make, and length of workshop (2.5 hours is standard). The cost includes all clay, glaze, firing and travel time up to 30mins from Te Miro (travel time is calculated at $2 per minute for anything over 30 mins), and the return of all finished pieces to the place where the workshop was held (please note, we don't send pieces out to different locations, nor do we drop off to more than 1 location).

Pieces are generally ready within 4-8 weeks of the workshop, depending on drying times and how busy our studio is.

The type of things you can make at our workshops include (but not limited to): mugs, plates and bowls, vases, serving bowls and platters, pinch pots, and Christmas themed (mugs, plates, wreaths, candle holders and Christmas decorations). Please view photo gallery below for some ideas.
